Lack of connection and collaboration between people, processes, and information: Collaboration among the company’s employee and its vendors, customers, and business partners is rudimentary and difficult

In the conference room are meeting: Christian (CFO), Irene (IT Manager), Paul (Purchasing Manager),
Peter (Production Manager), and Enrique (Engineering Manager)

The Agenda title:

Lack of connection and collaboration between people, processes, and information

Although it varies from company to company, you might want to examine the following:

  • What are your customers telling you about their ability to find company information, such as ship dates or order confirmations, online? Would they like to have better access to business data from you?
  • Are you happy with the quality of the relationships with suppliers and business partners? Would you like to increase the strategic value of these relationships? How do the business partners regard your company? Are you a critical element of their success?
  • Can your employees find any needed business functions and data online with ease? How would it impact their productivity and morale if they had smooth, uninterrupted access to any information and capabilities they required for their work? Can you assign roles and authorizations? Have you had incidents of sensitive information being disseminated inappropriately?
